The Lodge at Ashford Castle offers 24 Deluxe Bedrooms, 12 Duplex Suites, eight Quay Suites and six Lake View Suites, each of which is individually designed, beautifully furnished, generously proportioned and equipped with the latest technology for your utmost comfort.

You’ll enjoy rich deep pile carpets, super king beds with goose down duvets and pillows, chic modern furniture and the latest flat screen technology. Traditional sash windows allow you to breathe the pure air for which the West of Ireland is famed and all of the bathrooms boast underfloor heating, extra soft towels and luxury toiletries.

Deluxe Rooms

Our elegant Deluxe Rooms overlook the landscaped courtyard and are individually designed with chic contemporary furnishings, multi-channel LCD TV screens and DVD players. Bathrooms feature oversized rain showers and our super king beds feature goose down duvets and pillow topped mattresses for blissful comfort.

Duplex Suites

Spread over two floors, the spacious Duplex Suites offer extra room and comfort. The downstairs living area features a wonderful double height ceiling with a comfortable sofa and armchair, a dining table, a contemporary fireplace and an oversized multi-channel LCD TV with DVD player. Double glass doors lead out onto your own private terrace.

Upstairs the large bedroom overlooks the tranquil landscaped courtyard and the adjoining bathroom features underfloor heating and oversized rain showers. Duplex Suites are ideal for families as they can comfortably accommodate two children in the downstairs living room area; or join with a connecting Deluxe Room to make a two bedroom suite.

Quay Suites

The large Quay Suites offer plenty of room, and many enjoy their own private outdoor terrace. All are individually designed with stylish contemporary furnishings, with a living area featuring a large leather couch, a comfortable armchair and an oversized multi-channel LCD TV with DVD player. The Quay Suites can also be joined with a Courtyard Deluxe Room to create your very own exclusive two bedroom suite with your own private access.

Lake View Suites

The Lake View Suites are the most magnificent rooms at The Lodge, offering sweeping views of Lough Corrib – you can savour the fresh country air from your very own private terrace on the ground floor or from the upper floor private balcony.

Each is individually designed and features bespoke furniture with the emphasis on comfort, space, contemporary design and striking décor. All of the bathrooms have underfloor heating and a soaking bath with shower.

Wilde's at the Lodge

Discover Wilde’s Restaurant at The Lodge at Ashford Castle, serving fine contemporary Irish cuisine in a stunning setting.  Our sister property is located a short distance from Ashford Castle - either a 20 minute stroll or we can arrange transportation. 

Under the inspired direction of Jonathan Keane, recently described as “one of the country’s most exciting chefs” and with many award nominations to his name, it has become a popular destination not just for local foodies but visitors from afar. 

Jonathan creates a variety of delicious dishes that showcase the unique flavours and textures of the finest local produce, from succulent Irish beef and lamb to fish and seafood fresh from the waters of Galway Bay and the Connemara coastline.

Quay Bar and Brasserie

The Quay Bar and Brasserie is the perfect environment in which to sit back, admire the sweeping views of Lough Corrib, sip on a drink or enjoy a delicious meal. The intimate and informal setting is the perfect place in which to enjoy some hearty Irish cooking prepared with the finest local produce, swap stories of the day’s adventures and refresh yourselves with a couple of Chantelle Geraghty's popular cocktails. In the winter, it’s ideal for sinking into the deep leather sofa in front of the welcoming open fire.

Ashford Castle

Our magnificent sister property, Ashford Castle, is situated a 20 minute stroll away within the Ashford Estate, or transportation for guests of The Lodge can be arranged. Dating back to 1228, the castle is rich in heritage with a long and fascinating history – once being the property of the famous Guinness family. 

Continuing to attract the rich and famous, the venues range from fine dining in the spectacular George V Restaurant, to the exquisite Connaught Room - perfect for enjoying a traditional afternoon tea or holding private events overlooking Lough Corrib. Casual Irish cuisine is offered at Cullen’s at the Cottage during the summer months and at the atmospheric Cullen's at the Dungeon all year round.
